Superman in the Clouds

So I was messing around in the MS Paint during my Database class and got carried away. Needless to say, I didn't learn much from class that day, but at least we got another Superman pic out of it.

I had particularly the art of Joshua Middleton and the splash page of Superman #663 in my mind when I drew this, and referenced the Columbia Pictures logo for the clouds, because I knew I wanted very bold, matte painting style clouds for this picture. They ended up looking somewhat vector-like. I kinda like it.

I like the cape. I added some extension to it, so it may not make the most sense. Making sense is overrated, anyway. I like it, though, it kind of reminds me of Michelangelo's depiction of God in Creation of Adam.

Yes, I just compared my art to Michelangelo. I went there.
